Hoy nos hemos dirigido hacia el pueblo de Guejar Sierra. Vamos a realizar una ruta de senderismo con una dificultad Moderada debido a las cuestas y el terreno se hace un poco estrecho en la primera parte de la ruta por lo que os recomiendo ir con cuidado.
Ahora vamos a empezar con la ruta, comenzamos aparcando junto al restaurante "Barranco San Juan" puedes hacer click en el nombre del restaurante para saber como llegar, la carretera para llegar es un poquillo mala por lo que os recomiendo ir temprano para encontrar aparcamiento y no econtraros coches de frente, nosotros llegamos allí a las 09:00AM comenzamos la ruta justo al lado del restaurante que hay una señal que indica el comienzo del sendero. Comenzaremos a subir durante apróximadamente unas dos horas sin parar en algunos momentos llaneando un poco pero poca cosa, os recomiendo que os lo toméis con calma y descanséis cuando lo necesitéis.
Nos vamos a dirigir a la Hortichuela y conectaremos con Hornillo que encontraremos un refugio en el cual podemos entrar ya que la puerta está abierta, porfavor si entráis a visitar por dentro el refugio una vez salgais dejar la puerta cerrada para que no entren los animales. Nosotros comimos en una sombra que encontramos por allí, para poder coger fuerzas y comenzar el descenso está vez siguiendo los carteles que marcan "Vereda de la Estrella" ya todo el camino es un pequeño senderos con buenas vistas en todo momento tomarlos con calma la bajada, nos encontraremos un castaño centenario llamado "EL Abuelo".
